CORRUGATED BOXES KANSAS
Bennett Packaging custom designs and manufactures corrugated boxes for Kansas distribution, specialty boxes, corrugated display containers, and many other types of corrugated packaging, all of which are suited to the needs of a wide range of Kansas industries. We are focused on small to medium sized Kansas companies, and our Kansas client base serves the following Kansas industries in corrugated packaging for food, health care, pharmaceutical, printing, industrial, entertainment, advertising and marketing.

Our specialties include corrugated cardboard. Corrugated cardboard is a paper product made by sandwiching a fluted corrugated layer of paper between two layers of flat paper. The inner layer is called the corrugated medium and the outer layers are the inside and outside liners. The liner board is manufactured with the same type of material, referred to as kraft paper, used to make the common brown paper grocery sack. Corrugated cardboard is used mostly to manufacture cardboard boxes. After these boxes have been used and made available for recycling they are referred to as old corrugated containers.

Most of the old corrugated containers in Kansas come from retail and commercial activities in Kansas. The majority of this is generated at large quantity sources like Kansas shopping and distribution centers. Only a small portion of old corrugated containers comes from Kansas residential sources. Very large old corrugated containers generators often bale and ship their material directly to the Kansas recycling market. Most of it is collected from large and medium-sized commercial generators by commercial garbage collectors or scrap paper dealers. Kansas residential old corrugated containers are collected by residential recycling collection programs. The rest of the old corrugated containers that are recycled comes from Kansas recycling depots, disposal sites, and other Kansas recycling activities.

Bennett Packaging makes boxes out of corrugated stock. Over 90 percent of all goods in developed countries and Kansas are shipped in corrugated boxes. These boxes can be used for everything from apples to washing machines. By changing the design of corrugated boxes, combining layers of corrugated or adding interior packaging, a corrugated boxes in Kansas can be manufactured to efficiently ship and store almost any product.

Many standard corrugated box styles in Kansas can be identified in three ways: by a descriptive name that indicated the style of the corrugated box, by an acronym that indicates the short-hand way of notating corrugated box size, and also as an industry RSC number.

However, by converting from a system that used many different size one-way shipping containers to one that relies on nine standardized reusable corrugated package sizes, several Kansas factories and suppliers worldwide can reuse the same boxes, thus diverting a large volume of corrugated packaging and wooden pallets from disposal and cutting storage and shipping costs.
